Ever stood over your recycling bin thinking "can this go in?" — you're not alone! Get the rubbish run down on all things paper and plastic and help reduce pollution. Kristina Arthur from 1Coast (the Central Coast's waste management and recycling service) will be hosting a community education session on Saturday, September 5 from 4pm.
Whether you're passionate about reducing waste or simply want to know what belongs in which bin, this friendly session is packed with useful tips and surprising facts. You'll learn what happens to your recycling after it leaves the kerb, how valuable materials are recovered and reused, and simple ways to keep resources circulating instead of ending up in landfill.
