Mt Ettalong Lookout is located at the eastern end of Mount Ettalong and features a fenced viewing area atop a large sandstone boulder. A metal compass plaque helps visitors identify major landmarks. From left to right, the lookout offers stunning views over Umina Beach, up Brisbane Water, across Brisbane Water National Park, Box Head, out through the heads to the South Pacific Ocean, Lion Island, Barrenjoey, and up Pittwater. It’s an amazing spot on a sunny day — well worth the walk!
