Gary currently works full time as a regional Chief Technology Officer for a large multinational IT Services Organisation and before working in IT Gary was a Design Engineer for companies such as Philips Electronics and Marconi.

Gary contributes to the Progress Association using his skills in IT, Engineering, DIY, Carpentry, Contract Definition & Data Analytics.

​

Gary is a member of Hall, Finance and Constitution and Guidelines Working Groups. He also assists with many events & create and manage electronic event ticketing.

​

Gary's achievements in the last 18 months include:

• New Membership System

• Managed and co-developed new Website

• Managed the Hall Floor Restoration

• Developed PBPA Communication and Publicity Guidelines

• Cleaned and refinished Deck

• Cleaned and refinished Sleepers

• Replaced Wheel Chair Ramp

• Made new Brochure Boxes

• Installed Hall WIFI Mesh system

Gary is also a member of Arboretum Committee since 2020 where performs the role of IT Manager and Membership Secretary. At the Arboretum Gary also contribute by making the Arboretum Benches & Brochure Boxes.
