Dr Beverley Kingston is honoured by Margaret Beazley - Governor of NSW

Distinguished historian, Dr Beverley Kingston was honoured today by the Governor of NSW Margaret Beazley at the Blue Wave Living Aged Care centre in Woy Woy with the conferring of her membership of the Order of Australia.


Beverley was a long-time resident of Pearl Beach and a member of the Bearl Beach Progress Association Committee as well as the editor of its Newsletter - The Gem -  for many years.


She was surrounded by former colleagues and collaborators from the academic fraternity and contributors to the Australian Dictionary of Biography.
