They came, they sang, they smiled – an afternoon to remember

And that pretty much sums up a wonderful afternoon in Pearl Beach!
By the end of the day, people were standing in the aisles, singing, dancing and cheering. There were even a few tears.
The response from the crowd was unanimous: “That was the best ever!”
It was one of those special community events where everything seemed to come together. The hall was full, the music was flowing, glasses were raised and people simply enjoyed being together.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day such a success — the wonderful singers, The Ukeladies and Others, The Pearlers, our hardworking bartenders, the door team, and those who worked behind the scenes on the sound and lighting.

Events like this don't happen without an enormous amount of work put in by the organisers. So, to the fearless leader Pauline Toohey, family members, friends and the wider Pearl Beach community — thank you! Your support, enthusiasm and willingness to get involved are what make these events so special.
Thank you to everyone who came, sang, danced, laughed and helped make it a night to remember.
As Pauline so perfectly captured it: "The people came, they filled the hall. Had a glass or two and smiled and sang along. And at the end, they stood in the aisle and sang and danced and cheered and some cried. They said it was the ‘best ever’.”
