Jazz Through the Ages entertains Pearl Beach

A full house at Pearl Beach Memorial Hall enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music on Sunday May 24, as acclaimed pianist Carolyn Packer presented Jazz Piano Through the Ages alongside bassist Fiona Lugg.


Presented by the Pearl Beach Progress Association, the concert took audiences on a lively musical journey through the history of jazz, featuring works by legends including Scott Joplin, Duke Ellington, Fats Waller and Thelonious Monk.


Carolyn Packer’s energetic performance, improvisation and soulful vocals captivated the audience and earned enthusiastic applause throughout the afternoon.
