Pearl Beach Roads Update

It looks like we are eventually going to get some much needed rehabilitation to some of our roads. You may have noticed the ‘RS  (as image below) on Beryl Boulevard, Garnet, Onyx, Tourmalene, Emerald and Amethyst. This nomally depicts resurfacing by sprayseal (bitumen and aggregate) which is used to seal the road and extend its serviceable life. Before this is carried out CCC will be carrying out deep patching repairs and you may have noticed the numbered white marking showing the proposed patch’s. Not sure about timescales as sprayseal is a summer activity, but patching ok. As for the rest of our road network I’ll report all the other potholes/defects to CCC this weekend

Dimond Rd/Pearl Beach Drive

You may have also seen some funny looking dots/patches across the road. Apparently this is where speed bumps will be installed. Not sure when though
