Pink Pearlie Drinks a hit in the village

The inaugural Pink Pearlie Drinks proved to be a wonderful evening of friendship, laughter and connection, with a much larger crowd than organisers had anticipated gathering at the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall.

The event brought together members of the LGBTIQA+ community, friends and allies for a relaxed and welcoming evening of conversation, music and community. New friendships were formed, old friends caught up, and the atmosphere throughout the evening was warm, inclusive and full of fun.

The strong turnout highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for people to come together in a safe and welcoming environment, and organisers were delighted by the positive response from attendees.

A huge thank you goes to Paul, Blair, Hamish and their fantastic team of volunteers, whose enthusiasm, planning and hospitality helped make the evening such a success.

Given the overwhelming support for the event, Pink Pearlie Drinks will return on Sunday October 4, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm at the Memorial Hall.

Whether you attended the first gathering or are thinking about coming along for the first time, everyone is welcome.
