Capturing Pearl Beach, one photo at a time

If you’ve been to a Pearl Beach community event, chances are you’ve seen Peter Doddrell — camera in hand and always on the lookout for the perfect shot.

Peter has become something of a fixture at our community events, turning up time and time again to capture the people, the laughter, the action and those special moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

And it doesn’t stop when the event finishes.

Peter volunteers a huge amount of his time not only taking photographs, but also carefully editing them afterwards, creating an amazing collection of images that he then shares so the whole community can enjoy them.

From fairs and festivals to dinners, fundraisers and everything in between, Peter’s photographs capture what makes Pearl Beach such a special place — its people and its community spirit.

His photos give us the chance to relive an event, spot ourselves (or the kids or grandkids), share a laugh and see moments we may have missed on the day.

A huge thank you to Peter for his generosity, time and incredible eye for a great photograph. His contribution is a wonderful gift to the Pearl Beach community, and we’re very grateful for everything he does.
