PBPA Executive Committee election: Have your say

It’s your community, your association and your vote.
Each year, PBPA members have the opportunity to nominate for the Executive Committee and have a say in who helps guide the Association and represent the interests of Pearl Beach residents and members over the coming year.
This year, nominations open on Saturday 26 September at 5pm, with voting taking place online and in-person ahead of the Annual General Meeting.
Whether you’re thinking about nominating yourself, interested in finding out who is standing, or simply want to have your say, we’ll provide everything you need in one place.
Thinking about nominating?
The Executive Committee is an opportunity to get involved, contribute ideas and help shape the future of the PBPA and our community.
Who is nominating?
Once nominations close, we’ll publish a dedicated Candidate Information page so members can see:
who has nominated
which Executive position they are nominating for
each candidate’s supporting statement
any other information provided to assist members in making an informed choice.
The page will be published and ready to view before online voting opens.
When is voting?
There are two ways for eligible PBPA members to vote:
ONLINE VOTING
Opens: Saturday 10 October at 4pm
Closes: Saturday 17 October at 3pm
IN-PERSON VOTING
Saturday 17 October 3pm – 4pm at the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall
The ballot will then be declared at the PBPA Annual General Meeting, from 5-6pm, on Saturday, 17 October.
Make your vote count
The Executive Committee plays an important role in the ongoing work of the PBPA — from community activities and events to the management of the Memorial Hall and advocacy on issues that matter to Pearl Beach.
So, when voting opens, take a few minutes to read the candidate information, consider what skills and knowledge each nominee brings to the role, and have your say.
