The recent Pearl Beach Food & Wine Fare now in its 18 th year is proudly
presented by the Progress Association as a fundraising activity with proceeds
toward the Memorial Hall maintenance and upkeep.
A beautiful Spring day was ideal to host this unique community event that attracted enthusiastic locals and visitors who enjoyed tasting and purchasing from the select range of Hunter and local boutique wines and gourmet food producers, many of whom have supported the event since early beginnings in 2007.
This year we welcome back well known favourites including award winning ‘Little Creek Cheese’, ever a favourite ‘Hunter Olives’, selection of chocolates from ‘Sweet As’, ‘Natural Hive Honey’ - ‘Soul Food Gluten Free products, ‘Enokido Miso’ organic home made sauces, Spiralz Fermented Foods’, ‘For the Luv of Cakes’ and the ‘Original Smoke & Spice Co.’
Regular wineries showcased their latest best drops were ‘Millbrook Estate Winery’ plus ‘The Mulled Wine Co.’ In addition, the Pearl Beach Progress Association stall presented a selection of local Central Coast produce including Sonoma Artisan Bakery selections, plus famous Margin’s Mushrooms and local eggs, always a sell-out ! Refreshments and light lunches, prepared by local volunteers were served on the back deck ‘Cafe’ at attractive prices.
A big thank you to the exhibitors who generously donated items for the fundraising hamper raffles and members of the community who helped on the day.
A selection of photos vividly showcase the story of the day!
